Jurgen Scherer Takes Over Key Account Management at Cognis

Jürgen Scherer took over control of corporate key account management at Cognis on April 1. He succeeds Klaus-Michael Mohr, who managed this area until March 2002 and has now retired.
    
The global corporate key account management at Cognis manages strategic key customers in the segments of home care and personal care. This sector covers the business units care chemicals, primary surfactants and oleo-chemical raw materials.
    
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Scherer managed the care chemicals business unit between August 1999 and March 2002 in the German Cognis organization.
